What if young people co-created their healthcare system?
BACKGROUND
The Design Thinking Lab is on a mission to empower young people with tools to take control of their health and wellbeing. With a deep systemic understanding of some of the barriers adolescents face, the lab takes a hands-on role in teaching and learning from young people about how to create better systems for their lives.
Our team began by designing a five-week "Summer Design Challenge" with two cohorts of adolescents, aged 14-18. During our sessions, we relied on participatory design methods to help us engage, learn from, educate and build solutions together.
