MAPPING THE LANDSCAPE

Americans have a long history with beer. 22.3 billion dollar industry up from 19.6 billion last year. According to the chair of the Brewer’s Association, we are living in a “Golden Era of Beer.”

When you talk about data, you want to talk about delta’s and you talk about causality. What's driving the rapid growth since 2008? Community, craft, maker movement, quality and innovation.

With more breweries being added every day (2000 new ones are being planned right now) customers face more choice and confusion when choosing beers. The experience of discovering a new, good beer becomes complicated, and as we don’t recognize the labels, the risk becomes greater of choosing the wrong beer.
